For those who missed it yesterday, my dealer got in a Torch Red IUP, ICAP, 5 speed GT with Bullitts due to a cancellation. He had called to offer it to me, since my car is still a few weeks away, and I had sold my '03 GT driver.
So I went over to see it, and when I got there he had it all shined-up and sitting in the showroom.
It looked absolutely stunning in there under those lights, the red interior realy looked great with the Torch Red exterior. Even the Bullitts, that I'm not normally crazy about, seemed to look OK against the red.
Well after sitting in it, and looking at it from every angle... I decided tooooooooooooo... keep waiting for my black one.
It's not that it didn't look great, but I still like black with the ICAP and polished wheels better. :worship:
Oh well, I may kick myself for not taking it at some later date, but for now it's back to the waiting game.
Paul

PS. I could have left with it tomorow, on my birthday.

It's nice you were able to go in there knowing your ordered car is only a couple weeks away....that's certainly helps in the objectivity department! Personally, I'm glad you waited for the one you ordered.

I would have waited on the black too. But, I am partial to black, every vehicle I have ever owned has been black. IMO, nothing looks quite as good as a freshly detailed black vehicle, but like I said, I am partial to black.

I only have two problems with black mustangs:

1. It's very difficult to keep clean and looking good
2. Everyone who doesn't have a red mustang has a black one :P

Good call though. I think you did the right thing waiting for the one you ordered. Better to get what you want and love it than to settle for something and possibly regret it later

IMO black hides the lines to much and it kind of blends with everything else. I would have snagged the Torch which is what I have. Of all the colors I think the Torch stands out the most without looking cheap or to loud. JMO......... Its all personal taste so there is no right or wrong. Get what you like
