Accessary Delay
I have a 2005 GT with the optional security system and the global window function doesn't work. In the owner's manual it says that the accessary delay must not be turned on for this feature to work, but I can't find out how to deactivate it. Does anybody know how to turn this off, or do I have to go to the dealer to have it done?
Thanks!
Thanks!
I'm not 100% positive, but I do believe I read on these boards that Ford has officially disabled this feature on all newer '05 Mustangs. So, short of having the dealer reactivate it, I don't believe there is anything you can do. Also, I have read that Ford is instructing dealerships to NOT enable the feature. Apparently, there was some kind of issue with the windows rolling down while the car is unattended

This is true, however my dealer called me to activate it.
Thanks. I've been following the security system issues for a while, and had heard Ford disabled the feature. I thought if I could find out how to deactivate the accessary delay feature I could at least try to see if the key remote would lower the windows. The owner's manual explains how the accessary delay feature work, but doesn't tell how to turn it off, unless I just can't find it in there.

Should have given a bit more information. Another customer complained that the feature was'nt working. The dealer researched it and found the fix. I asked about it before I took delivery, however they did not know how activate it. I wasn't to concerned if I had it or not because I view it as a gimmick. They called and asked to bring the car in to activate it, so I did. I really don't use it, unless if it just to show off a little.
Getting it to work:
