Job 1 is a week old and they have proably gotten through the initial production gremlins.
Anyone have any idea of AAI's daily production rates??????

They probably didn't build 500 cars the 1st week so I wouldn't be so sure the gremlins are gone just yet.

According to 2MustangJohn AAI has been turning out anywhere from 200 to 350 Mustangs per shift with a final maximum capacity of 600 per shift once all of the kinks on the line are worked out. So if you estimate 250 per shift and two shifts per day that's 500 Mustang's a day times 6 working days since Job 1 and you come up with approximately 3000 Mustangs produced so far. It's probably more than that, I was being conservative.

B) Your math and 2MustangJohn input kind of supports the listed VINs of members who have been bucked, delivery dates reported, etc, Not to mention FoMoCos stated goal of producing 44,000 units before Christmas.

This week the plant is scheduled to build 280 cars/day, by the end of the month they will be up to 400 cars/day, and by Thanksgiving they will max out at 677 cars/day

B) Thanks for the info. Seems reasonable; what's your source of info?

Joe, that's 600 total cars per shift including the Mazda 6 which is built on the same line. John said that right now they are building 3 Stangs for every 1 M6.

So the maximum possible # of 05 Stangs is 450 / shift or 900 / day.
