I sent an email to my salesman asking him to get pricing on the cover and chrome Bullitt wheels. The following is his response:

Here is the info you requested: these are all at new car cost.

Car cover- $184.91

Bullitt wheels- $814

Credit for the wheels on the Mustang- $280

So to do this, $718.71 plus tax equals $761.83.

Those wheels are not available on the car from the factory.

Thanks for getting info on the wheels and car cover. Those prices aren't too bad for Ford factory stuff. Any chance you can find out the prices on both the plain bullitt wheel center caps (with the tribar/pony logo) and the bullitt spinner caps? If you could, that would be great. I asked my dealer for prices, and he has no clue.

I checked our price on the wheels with the part number, and it came back as $230 cost for the polished and $275 retail. The spinners were $80 cost and $100 retail each. So if you are getting them for the price he quoted you jump on it. That is lower than my cost as a dealer.

I was hopping someone here could verify the pricing. I have a good, honest salesman, but I'm not sure he's up to speed on all the stang info. I have informed him of very much due to what I've learned on this site. I need clerification before I act.

I just checked with my dealer and he said that the cover was 299.00, the wheels were something like 900.00 and no exchange (you take your old ones home)... The only other thing I checked on were the chrome exhaust tips and he didn't know for sure how much they were...He was going to get back to me today or tomorrow with exact pricing....Sounded a bit high and I am suprised that they don't exchange the wheels. Is this common?

There are companies that will chrome your stock wheels for about 80-90 each. May be an option.

Which wheels asre you referring too? Should I assume the base bullits and not the machined wheels?

Does anyone have a piscture of the argent wheels that is anywhere near as clear as the chrome ones seen here? I want to know how much darker they are than the standard bullitts. I like the way the bullitts look with the darker spokes and chrome ridge around the outside, and I think the argent style ones will be ever cooler. Thanks in advance.
