Alright,
The Tape Strip on my mustang is ripping... a tiny chunk is gone out from under the M and it being on black is very noticable. So I was thinking of taking it off and developing my own...
I am a Graphic Artist so I have all the tools I need and a friend who can print it..
Wanna throw some suggestions out there??

 

try to get it warrantied or at least a new one that you design put on free at the dealership because the old one is defective, someone else had theres come off at a carwash

yea stupid car wash is what ripped mine... i ll have to chck an see if it's under warranty or not... but in the event i did develop one.. do you all have any suggestions..

 

Alright, Summer is just around the corner and I can't have my car in bad shape... been working on little rock chips and so forth that I might have developed last year ... Car is out of Warranty and Ford refused to replace several times while in warranty so seems like, i'm up the creek without a paddle.
The new tape stripe is orginal, but could be easily replicated.... It uses the old Mustang Text in crusive and in white. And i'm using a dark charcoal color for the two stripes... they will look pretty much the same... expect they will be blended in a little bit better.

I'll post pictures of the custom tape job... along with that i'll post some pictres of my custom Tail light decal... same guy...very cheap... seems like ford is messin everyone over... he showed mea book where he could order the oxford stripes for like 35 dollars... and that is how much he is charging me for the custom stripe..(both sides)... the tail light decal was about 5 dollars...
Reason i went bck to him as, the decal on the tail light has been there quite a while, i thinki got i put on at the end of 2005...maybe mid 2006... Hasn't showed a bit of problem nor tear...
