Cool Custom Door Inserts

I have done numerous searches to no avail. Can someone tell me how to remove the door inserts correctly? I think there was mention of a Ford tech sheet on how to do it.
Also, where can you buy different color door inserts? Thanks.

I added the colored lettering, they are from Baltimore Street mods. Was also thinking of adding some blue pinstripe tape to the tri bars on either side.

Oops just re read, Door inserts not sill inserts.... Oh silly me...

Not sure, but I think you can only remove the inserts from the standard door panels. I think the upgrade aberdeen inserts are not removable, but I could be wrong on this..... As far as the removal how-to, can't help 'ya there

Right on - the vinyl inserts are glued to the door. That area is a molded part of the door panel and isn't removable.

I don't think the inserts on the standard door panels are removable either from what I've seen.

They're not. The service manual does not cover this at all. It does however cover removal of the whole door panel. New one costs $200-$300...

Good catch, but I don't think that's what the OP had in mind

I don't think you'll find anything to replace the insert "off the shelf" It'll be a custom job that an interior or leather shop could most likely do for you. I've seen it on numerous show cars.

Thanks everyone. I was really trying to get the 2-tone look on the doors, but I guess I will try a custom shop to see what I can come up with.
