If it didn't break the paint, you might try paintless dent removal - Dent Wizard or someone similar. My office manager just used them to remove a crease on her door, and you can't even tell it was there. $100.

Before you get the bumper repainted here is something yuou might want to try. Take a hair dryer and heat the area that was creased. Heating the area should help the bumper heal itself. The bumpers are formed by melting the pastic and injecting them into a mold and they kind of develop a memory from that process, so heating it sould help. you will have to get it rather warm. I would not recommend a heat gun because you run the risk of burning the paint. Since it didn't break the paint, I would give this a try before I had the bumper repainted. IMHO repainting the bumper would be the last resort, because no matter how well the paint job is it will be easier to crack and chip than the factory paint.

Thanks guys. One collision center says $546. Going to Olathe Ford after work. Guys at first collision place said two hours work. $546 for two hours work. That is a pretty good average per hour rate (even with the materials, etc., taken out of the amount). I'm in the wrong business.
Think you're in the wrong business? Las year I was having some hip & leg pain. I had 3 steroid shots in my back - each one cost me (my insurance co.) $1658. Each shot took less than 5 min. No wonder doctors drive Porsches.
