Couldn't pass it up......

......and I missed my five speed BAD! My dealership traded for a 2005 Colorado Red G.T. coupe with black leather interior and a five speed with only, get this, 10,500 miles on it. My 2006 white automatic deluxe has nearly 38,000. Even though I just bought tires for the 18" wheels on mine, I couldn't resist. I'm now the proud owner of this red beauty. My payment stayed within a month or two of the same length of time I owed on the white one, and is within $10 bucks a month of being the same amount. With this red car, I not only got back the five speed, which I missed GREATLY, I got the Shaker 1000 audio system, leather, side airbags and factory theft system. The only thing missing is the 18" fanblades I had on the other car, but I still really like the charcoal Bullitt wheels, even though they've been done to death. This car is also geared 3.55 vs. 3.31 in the auto, and I kept my C&L Predator tune and Racer kit CAI. Plus, I kept my CDC hood struts, factory decorative intake cover, and the little Roush bling pieces under the hood. The only thing I lost that I really wanted to keep was the Silverhorse Racing honeycomb panel. Just afraid I would break it removing it. Had a few other pieces that were not important that I let go. What do y'all think? Sound like a good deal? BTW, they gave me about a $1000.00 worth of equity on trade, so that's why the payment stayed so close. I ended up giving $16,200 plus tax for the car. I think I did o.k. , and I'm pretty happy with it.

I agree about pics, but I haven't had the car long enough to make any yet, and I am too computer stupid to post them if I did. As far as paragraphs go, well, I'm an Alabama guy, and educated in a city school on top of that, so.......well, you know.

Indeed, it would be either Redfire (metallic) or Torch Red (flat).

I don't quite understand that either. Brochure says Torch Red. My parts catalog says Colorado Red on my touch up paint part number. I think the paint code is D3. May just be a catalog misprint. Ford ain't the easiest manufacturer I've ever worked for when it comes to parts and accuracy.

Torch Red & Colorado Red are the same, code D3.
Ford renamed it with the new 05 & up models.

Congrats on your new ride!
