Hey Rhumb, I know there are alot of guys out there that like the "Hips", but I wouldn't hold my breath for Any Manufacturer to Bring "Hips" back as a styling device as they tend to make a Modern Car look Old.
As for the Sightlines a out of the 05 They're Great! It has Very Good Visibility! As for the "Sporty Feeling" I associate a True Sports Car With Being Low and Sleek! Sitting in the 05 gives the Driver the Feeling you get when You sit in a 69-73 Mustang, Without having your Butt on the Floor Board, the 05 has a Great Driving Position! Trust me I have sat in one more than twice.

rhumb, you're decribing your/our probe again. Low beltline, athletic body design and lots of window area. Too bad they're getting old eh?

Yah, mine looks really good still. Too bad its approaching 200,000km. Seems like ever since I seriously began the countdown to the new stang, I haven't had a single problem with it. Funny how that happens. I'm really taking the time to enjoy it while I still have it. You tend to overlook the great features of a car. I think I appreciate them more these days.
