Convertible vs Coupe Headroom
Has anyone seen a comparision between the 05 coupe and convertible in terms of front-seat headroom? I'm 6'2" and have plent of headroom in the coupe. I hoping the same would hold true in the vert. Thanks.... Mike P.

With the top down you could be 62Ft tall and still fit.

That's what I"M talking about!!!
Sorry Mike. The problem is nobody has had an opportunity to sit in a vert with the top up yet. All the verts in the shows have the tops down.
I would believe there would be about an inch more headroom in the front and a couple inches or more in the rear because of the different roof line. This is just an estimated guess and not official.

Thanks Steve, that is kinda what I figured....not many everyday folks have been lucky enough to get seat time in the 05 vert yet....
I'm signed up for an 05 via the Ponydrive but I still don't know whether or not to order the coupe or convertible....decisions, decisions, decisions.

I think it will have the same ( or slightly more ) head room.
Only thing I noticed. The windshield is raked back farther on the vert. I am 6'-4" and this can become a vision problem for me. The main reason I chose the mustang ( other than 300hp ) was that I was not looking at the top of the windshield like I did in just about every other sports ( type ) car I drove. In most of the other cars, the top of the windshield was right in my line of sight with the seat all the way back and down. There was a very narrow field of vision between the top of the windshield and the top of the hood.
I almost bought a porsche boxter, but I realized that I would often lose sight of the road going done a fairly short hill that had an incline up from the bottom. Also, I could never see a traffic light without leaning over and looking up... Very annoying....
I suspect that the mustang will be fine, but I want to sit in one before I consider trading up for the rag top.....
