I've had a vert for 8 straight years ('00 Vert and '02 GT Vert). Verts to me are not for the track. Verts are for cruising on the beach, on country roads on a nice sunny day. If you don't have some sort of cover (garage, porch), it's tough on the roof. I've used my verts as a dd and I have covered parking at work and a garage at home. Also, I live in sunny Florida so my top is down approx. 65% of the year so I get to use mine a great deal more. I had only one problem with my verts in the past 8 years and that was the top motor broke on my GT Vert and got it replaced (warranty). But you have to take into account what you want to use it for. If its any type of racing, I wouldn't bother with a vert. But if you have sunny weather most of the year where you live and you just want it for spirited driving, then I say you'll never regret getting one.
