Ok, so some dealers are telling people November and some dealers are telling people now.
I can wait 'till November as long as it doesn't keep me from getting my car 2 months after everybody else.
Otherwise, I'd like to place the order ASAP.

What about this Kev guy? Is he in VA?
These triangle area NC dealers don't seem to know what's going on.

I'm going to check the one in Wake Forest and see if they can give me an answer I like (and aren't wrong about it).

A dealer can take your order any time. Nothing will happen with the order, though. The cars will not be built until 1/31/05.
Convertible prices have not been issued yet.

Hey everyone, I already placed an order for one of my customers for a GT 'Vert Premium on Sept 6th. Factory received it on the 8th. On the update sheets for ordered vehicles, it has listed "MAT HOLD" or "Material Hold", which means they are not scheduling the cars since it isn't available yet. There is prices on the "vert though, so if any other dealer says you can't order it until Novermber or December, they is lying. Just trying to help out the masses.
I haven't seen vert prices released yet, all that I have seen is the coupe. Post your source for the prices please, I am sure we would all like to see them. [/b][/quote]
He can't cite a place because he is LYING, another thread filled with LIES. He must have sold 05MACH1 his car set to be delivered last Saturday toooo.

I saw a Windveil Blue convertible with no camo riding by today as I left the restaurant at lunch. It was a V6, sans spoiler and looked fantastic!!!

My overly honest dealer told me that the reason why so many customers are getting the 'you have to wait' or 'not yet' or say they dont have any info is because they are trying to push out the 04's before they can no longer get rid of them. turds! although, yes they can take your order now. I am getting 'triple black' vert also. super exited. still not sure if I should go with the classic bullitt style or get the upgraded rims? good luck to everyone!

Considering it tooks so long for coupe pricing, it's obvious vert pricing isn't out yet (and it's predictable anyways).

Hey guys. I sell these, and here are some prices to go by.

Base Price for GT 'Vert Permium w/o D&D (as of 9/15 with price level 515). The base price for the car is $30,135.

This is the only price I can get, as Ford doesn't seem to have the printable price lists on the dealer site. If you were to use CONCEPTS and "spec one out", you should see the prices of the V6 and V8 in both deluxe and premium trim. The price above is only good for price level 515, and Ford is now on price level 520, so the price may have gone up. It did on the F250's, just not sure if the cars went up also.

If anyone out there wants to order a convertible, DO IT NOW!!!!!!! Since the car isn't coming out until at least March timeframe, they may have more price increases in the future, and ordering now can prevent paying them, as long as you have a priced out order.

If any dealer says they can't order a convertible, they are lying. We don't have any 04's left so we are telling everyone to order now, before the wait. Just wanted to offer my .02 cents.
