I have a 05 GT ragtop, the center console is out of line on the left side. If I run my hand down the side of the console it is not flush like on the right side. A buddy of mine has a 05 hard top and his is out of line on the right side. If you all would check your tangs by running your hand down each side of the console and see if it is flush on both sides. Please give some feed back before I go to the dealer. My buddy and I are going with both cars so they can't claim it should be that way, If so why is mine on the left and his on the right. I also can feel a metal clip about 1 inch long on mine when I run my hand from front to back. Please check yours and leave a post. Thank You all before hand.

Correct me if I am wrong, but the center console just slips in place in the front of the shifter and is screwed in place inside the armrest. If that is correct you should be able to loosen the screws and realign it easily.

I was always better at DESTRUCTION than CONSTRUCTION and for 32 grand I think it is Ford's job to fix it. LOL. Thanks

My console is flush on both sides with no indication of any clips anywhere.

Mine was out on the Passenger Side, actually felt it before I saw it.

My Dealer's Body Guy used a thin flat tool to force it into
the proper position. One plastic tab was on the outside, instead of
in.
No further problems.
