yesterday ISELLFORD advised me on what UNSCH-SI meant...so today, I call the ERL, and she says as of July 1, C/U. If the orders were pulled yesterday, July 1, and I am still C/U could that mean a possible delay?

 

If you are thinking 05, start thinking 06. IMHO

Billy... I got serialized on 7/1... but I wouldn't worry about a delay yet. I'm not sure how many they serialized at this time and if they do them every week. But we're talking about the very first 06's serialized.

Are you sure you saw that it was serialized when you were at your dealers? I wasn't suprised to find out mine was pulled, as my dealer said I was his first 06 order. And I know he has good allocation. (he had allocation on 05's through April into May) Does your dealer move alot of mustangs? good allocation? Are you the first 06 order for them, or are their others ahead of you?

I would just ask your dealer... tell him what you saw on the screen and ask him to explain it.

Prolly all orders for the '06 will be C/U until this week or next.

 

My '06 order is still also C/U, but I'm not worried. I'm sixth in line at the dealer and a priority 45. I'm giving myself about four weeks for my order to be pulled. Plenty of priority 10's ahead of me all across the USA, I'm sure. I'll probably end up being the last of the first '06 orders in this forum to pull.

 

10's across the US do not affect you at all. What affects you is how mnay orders your dealer has in the order bank and how many he has allocated. If he has at least 1 06 Mustang allocated and you are the only retail order he has, it should pull unless he places stock orders at a lower number than yours. Most dealers will prioritize vehicles according to retail orders by order date [the fair way to do it].

 

You've got to remember this is a holiday weekend and pretty much all Ford offices, etc are closed which means a lot of internal updates, etc are not made until Tues. Check back towards the end of next week or better yet on Wed call your salespersan and ask him/her if your car did pull and what your VIN is.
