no bananas yet... i'm not quite ready to believe that after a 6 month wait, ( i ordered on 8-11) that the car is actually going to arrive.

I've got the 'elusive' v-6 manual with IUP coming, so when it arrives.... i'll have to post some pics.

I'm more of a lurker on this site, simply because I can't really add to many topics because I'm lacking a car, but I must say, I'm on this darn site every day, and it's great! I'm addicted!
When this car arrives, i'll be asking all kinds of questions and for advice on mods etc... but I gotta get the car first.

hopefully by this time tomorrow... i'll be cruising in my own 05.

That seems strange to have to wait 5-6 months on it have you checked the Dealer as they do get a weekly status sheet as to everything in or on the works, and you name will be on that list ! I was lucky enough to rec an e-mail from Ford with a sorry for the delay and tonight when I get home there is another waiting for me with a very specific survey. So I really do believe that from what I have read on this site and just chatting with lots of others that they are working and trying to get the orders done , Patience is the Key .

 

Well, the v-6 manual is the least selling model, so Ford did not schedule them until early December. Add IUP to the mix, and you have yourself a 6 month wait. I'm not the only one.
I, convienently, am a really patient person (i also already own a stang, so I get my fix there) I understand that the wait will be worth it. From the times I've test drove the 05, i can tell that even 6 months is not too long to wait.

Na and by then the weather will be just about right ! Could you see Wo-Fat driving a Mustang in Hawaii 5-0 or say Steve.M and Dano those would be some great car chasing.

 

V6 manual, IUP, black leather seats. Ordered in August. Car built on the 26th this month. No ETA. The dealer told me they wouldn't know the ETA. Whatsoever, it will arrive within the next few days. GT wheels with Dunlops and silver stripes are waiting at the dealership to be put on as soon as the car gets there.
6 month wait for just a V6........I know exactly how you feel. We should be called the real enthusiasts.
