Some car covers allow dust particles to penetrate, you might like to research and consider the quality to suit the application in mind.

Wind will make the cover move and water might filter through. Dust, dirt, and sand will cause streaks and scratches with the use of a car cover. Those items and possible combinations should be considered. One of the best ways to put it on and removed is by lifting the sides and both ends, folding, and rolling the cover to minimize the friction.

Didn't even think about that, as it would basically be a DD cover for every day protection from UV, might be better to just waxed the car more frequently and protect the weather stripping.

you might want to just wax it more often and use some rubber conditioner on it more frequently. if you get a cover and put it on at the bus stop i will guarantee you that you will return to find NO cover after someone lifted it from your posession.

I would agree on not using a cover in this case. You could still use window shades all around to keep the interior temps down to protect the interior.

I would agree with Chris and Brian, but if you really want a cover, I've been happy with my Covercraft Weathershield HP. I use this for storage during the winter.
