Should all the dealers be alerted to how many more GT's they will get by now? I stlil haven't gotten the dreaded call from the dealer yet. Is that good news?

I'm gunna call today to see if my dealer got a build-out number. Praying....

Any dealers in here know if Ford alerted most of the dealers in the country?

I found out that the June build-out was sourced last week; what I don't know is when the last '05 job hits the production line. If you knew that date, you could then do the math based on the last order being accepted by the factory on June 24. If the buildout period is 5 weeks, Ford should be able to empty out the order bank to the tune of about 21,000 Mustangs-total. How many of those will be GT's is the question. Anyone know?

What do you mean it was "sourced"? They know which orders are goingto make it into production by now, correct?

I'm just trying to find out if i get an '05. I don't care as long as I get it between now and August(as long as it's still summer when I take delivery)

Every dealer receives hus "build out" allocation; ours for example was 8 total mustangs. How many will be GT's or vert's is anyones guess as we are all constrained each week by commodities and avaialble options. One thing we have in our favor is that we have turned every GT we have received and we are the #1 dealer in our Zone.

So Ford told you that you are getting 8 more mustangs, but you don't know whether they are GTs or V6s?

No one knows which cars are going to be built because Ford only builds what they have the parts for. So if they are short on say the V8 engine they'll have to build less GT's that week.

It's all based on parts available.

Each week we have to go by what commodities are avaialble. For example on the week after next we have 2 allocated. if they are building 50% GT's then we get one as a GT.

I just checked and as of today, we have 7 Mustang's left for the model year as a retail got scheduled last night. we currently have 3 orders in the system so we will have either 4 more avaialble to be ordered. Of the ones we have ordered, 2 are T82's and one T85.
