Just curious - does anyone else have a build date before production officially began on 09/07? My car was built on the 4th.

 

09/04 The 09 designates the 9th month ( September ) and 04 designates the year 2004.

 

Thanks, I stand corrected...and feel pretty stupid. You would think after the whole Y2K thing Ford would go to 4 digit years, oh well. Most other cars I have owned listed the day, month and year. Thank god it was not built before the 7th.

 

Yeah, Y2K had to do with the fact that computers weren't built to 2000, not that it was two digits. Same problem would have come up even if it was 4 digits.

Even though it was nothing.

I know it doesn't matter, but knowledge is good.
