Altoid,
There are several things going on here. First of all, when he uses photos with my logo to sell a car, he is associating my business with his, and I don't want that happening. I've already gotten a few emails of people complaining that I rip people off when I sell cars on eBay, which I've never done. They see that logo and assume I'm selling the car. Also, Todd and I went through great lengths to get him into the media preview of that show. I don't think this guy should use the fruit of that work for free. He's using my logo, Todd's name, and mine and Todd's intellectual property without anyone's permission.

This person never claims ownership of the pictures. They are merely examples of something resembling his product. There is really no reason to fuss over this kind of stuff, unless he leeches it off this websites Bandwidth, then it is an issue.
So he doesn’t own them, your only option is asking kindly to having them removed or suing him. I’m sure you don’t want to get tied up in a legal battle so you really only have one option, or leave him alone.
If your picture was an artistic image and had to possibility of sales then it matters, like a painting. I don’t get why people watermark pictures of cars like they created a masterpiece. Wow, you snapped a picture and then uploaded.

I may not find every right you enjoy particularly logical, but I wont belittle your choice to excercise that right as you see fit. This is Brad's property and he should protect his property rights as he sees fit
People need to be more careful when using somebody elses property, intellectual or otherwise, especially when they are engaging in a business where the assumption could be made that there is a relationship between two entities.
property question- Brad said when u send him a pic, it becomes his property, to do with it as he likes. Now, can the photographer still use those images? If a TMS photographer was an ebay seller and used their own photos, would that be infringing on Brad's rights?

He can do with it as he likes on his site. He can't go posting it all over saying "this is my picture". I'm not saying he would or does do this, I'm just trying to clear things up.
Photos on the internet have basically come down to this: if you post it on the internet, without a logo, copyright, or identifying marks; anyone can take it and do whatever they want with it, since it is impossible to prove where they got it. If it didn't say TMS.com on it, the auctioneer could simply argue that they got it on "billybobsmustangworld.com" and there were no copyrights on that site.
But since TMS.com is brad's Intellectual Property, he can ask for any picture (or text) with his site name on it to be taken down. He has more of a claim to the name and logo than the picture.
First sonic blue picture as well as many shots from the down river cruise and serveral 'first' pictures.
Im not saying I have a ton but I have contributed, and had I known they would have gone to an egotistical site admin such as yourself I would have never posted them. I have several others but I will no longer be posting them on this site...thats what you get for talking down to individuals who live near Dearborn. What goes around comes around Brad....glad they are stealing your pics :P

I didn't know "Baiting the Admin." was such a popular sport here!
