Bottom Seat belt covers

Hi all,
Just wondering if the bottom seat belt covers are the same on both sides of the '05 mustang.
Mine was built in May and they aren't!
1st image is the drivers side, you can see some of the metal underneath! The 2nd image is the passenger side cover
The question is, should a similar but reversed cover be on the drivers side as on the passenger ?

I noticed this on mine some time ago. Every one I've checked since then has been the same. That is, different. I've asked many times why they don't match, but have yet to hear a satisfactory response. Most times, all I get is a shrug.

Thanks for the reply, I checked a V6 vert in the showroom when I took my car in for service today, and it has the same covers! Wacky!
