Is anyone else seeing a puff of blue smoke at start up?
It's to warm here for this to be from a cold air start up? Does anyone have any idea why this is happening, and how worried should I be at this point, (worry is my middle name ). Car only has about 1200 miles on it. I did not notice this smoke when there were only say 50,100, or 200 miles on it. Only noticed in the last couple hundred miles are so. So I dont know if this can be written off as part of the normal break in process .

Thanks for the help,
Tony

Black is usually car running too rich, white is when antifreeze is in the stream/cylinder head leaking etc. And Blue I believe is when there is oil present in cylinder, etc. Good luck

Blue smoke is oil. Could just be excess on the cylinder walls. Might not be anything really wrong but I would monitor the oil usage. If it too much take it to the dealer.
