Guilty of never drive it in the winter and it does get caught in the odd rain but if it looks like hail no way !
My 92 S-10 will have to fill in for winter duty for now untill I find a more suitable winter beater. :P

I had a feeling the WALL would be a hit with all of you OCD people!Where's John???Anyways ,I got mine free from the school I work at.They were gonna toss them and I said hold on..just a minute..those are going home with me!They are office cubicle dividers.Cloth fabric on both sides.you can't tell from the pics ,but there is a section in front of the car(90 degree angle) that fully supports it.These can be purchased at office depot at about 100 dollars a 3 ft panel.they are not supported from the ceiling. They are super sturdy.foot pegs can be adjusted below for uneven surfaces.I have 5 panels altogether.4 on the side and one in the front. My wife just informed me that I better tell everyone this was her idea.I was getting ready to buy them(have a buddy that does sales for office depot)and his wife was the one who told me about the walls at school. Some days life is GREAT!!
as far as the rake and ladder and everything else goes, they are bolted firmly in place and when I need to use some thing I back the stang out first Plus my kids (6&4) are trained not to go on the side of the car.

Hey Boltzman, your wife and your buddy's wife are just as nutty as you. You're a lucky man. JTJeff has a pretty sweet set-up as well. MAybe we should start a thread entitled "Mustang Garages" or something similar, and have everyone (with unique garages) post a pict of their mustangs home. I bet we would get some pretty sweet shots, like yours and JTJeff's.
cheers

I've driven my car just about every day since December 28th and no damage has been done to the car besides that jerk I call my driveway slope. Though I hate rain I do not mind driving the 'stang in it and I do not let the weather get in the way of enjoying myself with the car I love.

Does it get babied? Oh Yeah. Yesterday, some of my co-workers came running up to tell me there was a bad storm with hail about 15 mins from work. Needless to say, I left early. My co-workers love my almost as much as I do!
At home, it gets dusted/wiped several times a week. And only hand washing and drying, with towels I know are ok. And when it is in the driveway, the neighborhood kids have to leave their bikes in the yard by the curb if they want to get close. My grandkids have to take off their shoes before I take them for a ride. When parking, I park far, far away from everyone else. Never drive behind big trucks if I can help it. And the car has a name: "Sally".
Does it get babied? You tell me.

I'm fortunate to have the option of leaving my Mustang in the garage during bad weather. Whenever I leave it at home, people ask me where it is. When I tell them I left it at home because it's raining out, they just don't get it. I hear "oh, you're afraid it's going to rust", or some other stupid comment. Some people think it's funny. others just roll their eyes. Is this a Northern New York thing, or do you guys experience this too?

Whe here in south germany (Allgäu) have hard winters and some people asks, what i do in wintertime. I say: "The same i do in summer; race bmw, amg mercedes and porsches."
A mustang is not a toy like a ferrari. A horse is waterproof and all bodyholes are at the underside
My pony is my one and only car. My co-workers likes it. The production manager bought a mercedes CLK 500 convertible last year. The most guys makes nasty remarks of this wannabe millionare. A mustang is cool and cult. A CLK for wannabes. in every season.

Keeping it inside for Rain?! Well, to each his own, but why bother waxing it if you're going to baby it like that. It makes having the car that much more painful when you get dents and scratches from normal driving conditions. Ease up a little.
