I just returned from the HOT ROD POWER TOUR, had a great time saw some amazing cars & country side. This is the only road trip I've taken with my 05 GT auto. and it handled flawlessly, averaging 22.5 mpg. for the whole trip. The only problem I've noticed is a brief shudder when shifting out of first gear. Has anyone else experienced this. I guess I'll need to take it to the Dealership[first time in 6500mi.].

 

Yes, I have the same thing happen. The dealer says they either can't replicate or it is normal. However, I wonder if it might have something to do with the angle of the front drive shaft mount pinion. If, I recall correctly, a long while ago someone else was talking about the angle of the components from the rear of the transmission connecting to the front of the drive shaft was found to be off from the factory and they had it corrected. Sorry my memory hardrive is small. Let us know what else comes up on your problem please.
