i have an o2 mustang gt auto. i was looking to gain some power and torque but really dont want to destroy my wallet. im also looking for a 4.6l v8 engine to replace mine when it kicks the bucket.

The 4 speed auto is holding your '02 back a lot. From what I've seen, they accelerate good in the first three gears but fall flat when they shift to 4th.

For sure get full exhaust CAI and a tune will help big time and if you can spare the dough a bullitt intake

i had no issue at all getting to 110 i was suggested doing cams a tune changing my gears in the back to 393 full cold air intake system

The factory air boxes on these things are the most restrictive POS and getting rid of it and putting a tune will really be good for waking up your ride, granted if you want more power you will need to do more power supporting mods, as for the wallet AM has a good forum discount that will help with that.

If your really limited get a CAI and tuner kit, best thing to wake up your slang, again the restrictions in your ride are the auto trans and the air box, and seeing as a full trans upgrade/swap is out due to price the tune and CAI are the next best thing
