You were buying gas from a middled aged woman in her later 30's/early 40's and you're worried about what she thinks?

I have never laughed at another persons shortcomings in life....HOWEVER...Several times my kids have commented on how stupid or slow a worker at McDonalds is...and I come back with "see...that's why you're going to college!!"

It's a car. Some people won't like it, some people will. So? It's all about what *you* like, since you paid for it. About half of the people I've met with 2005 Mustangs have been ridiculously snobbish about it, but I'm not going to generalize and call all 2005 Mustang owners ******

Sixtysix, I have SN95 GT owners flip me off all the time, though it's hard to make out cuz they're pretty far behind by then

NOTE: the material stated above is the sole opinion of the author and by no means a scathing indictment of fueling station personnel

No bad comments, but I'm starting to wonder about the late model stang owners myself. Every model car owner has acknowledged me with a thumbs up or good comments. 1 Bullet(2001) & 1 Silver '05 stang have honked & talked with me. But no other stang drivers will acknowledge me, even ignore my waves to them. Not looking for it, but I just thought they'd care more than the other car folks. What's up with that?

I was stopped at a light with my windows down, this guy next to me calls over "hey, how much you pay for that thing?"
I reply "around 28"
Guy says "cool, how much horsepower?"
I say "around 300"
He nods his head then asks "how much does it weigh?"
I say "oh around 3500 lbs"
then he says "Ahhh...so it's about a 15 flat then eh?"
Laughing I tell him, "no more like 13.8 or so, depending on driver"
Then the discouraging comment, he says "Haha! no way" and shakes his head like I had just told him it could run 9 seconds or something.
Well the light had turned green as we where chatting, to avoid getting run over from behind I kinda jumped on it, so did he. His car was actually louder than mine but wasn't moving very fast. I don't know if he thought it was a race or whatever, it wasn't, but his engine was winding tighter than a two bit watch. He never caught up.
Other than that, anyone who has cared to comment has had nothing but nice things to say. Had a convieniance store clerk follow me out of the circle K just to get a better look at it once.

Geez man, be a little defensive. Face facts. People who go to college, on average, are more educated, more intelligent, and have higher paying jobs that require less physical and more mental exercise. Why does there always have to be someone that takes offense to everything?
The Tonys are on fire today! You guys got me rollin.. much needed laughs.
Maybe if we stop pointing out how sensitive people are, there will be less sensitivity noticed?
C'mon everyone hold hands, and sing "kumbaya"!

I have not had one negative reaction/comment on my car. In fact I was sitting at a red light the other day and a guy in his PT Cruiser one car ahead of me in the other lane was hanging half way out his window giving me the
Even the cool old guy working the drive thru at BK asked me what was under the hood and if I had a standard tranny. Definitely the coolest old guy I've seen working the BK drive thru......come to think of it, the only old guy I've seen working the BK drive thru.
