Anyone had trouble with Latemodel Restoration Supply?

To make a long story short, I ordered a Cervinis Concept hood through them for my 06 GT. It was on backorder so i had to wait a for it to ship. It came in and the body shop i had it delivered to refused delivery for damage to the hood. So i had to wait for another hood on backorder. Last Monday the 2nd hood comes and and again it was refuesed. So i talked to LRS and they say the first hood was repairable, but my bodyshop says it's not and i tend to believe them because they don't make any money off me if they don't accept a hood to put on for me(plus they're putting a chin spoiler on too). I was just wondering if anyone else has had bad experiences with them. We're going for try 3 now so if they can't get they're shipper to get it here in one piece I'd gonna demand my money back and I'll get the hood for someone else. Thanks for listening to my vent lol

I ordered wheels from them in April, very happy with the wheels and service. Bryan Mertz was my contact and he helped me when everyone else said the bullitts were on BO.

Sounds like your problem is with the shipping company or possibly your body shop. Did they document what was wrong with the hood? Many body shops hate working with aftermarket fiberglass (think all the ugly civic body kits you see) so maybe they are just being unreasonable. Personally I think LRS is doing a good job by sending yet another hood for your body shop to inspect. If the shipper is damaging these hoods that is on the shipper and kinda out of LRS's control.

I don't really blame LRS, I do blame UPS freight quite a bit. I'd be nice if i could be there for the delivery to see it myself, but it's really not possible unless they actually give me a tracking number this time. i could maybe leave wor ealry to be there. I've asked LRS to send me a picture of the previous hood but i don't know if that will happen. Just get frustrating having hundreds of dollars floating around with nothing to show for it. Well hopefully the third time is a charm.
