I have these white numbers on the outside of my glass on all windows. It is some kind of tracing/tracking number I guess, because I also have these footprints stickers all inside my car. Anyway, I have tried alcohol, and they did not come off. Any other suggestions before I take a razor blade to them?

i believe those are your VIN numbers and it is etched into the glass, it is a sort of security feature that your dealership did.

I'm going to guess thats your VIN NO. etched into the glass ,you dealer would do that and charge you for it .The idea was that if the car was stolen and re-taged (new VIN ) and repainted the car could still be recovered .

Ok my car was actually a dealer trade from GA, so I guess that dealer must have done it. I don't really notice it too much with the tint, and I guess it's a good feature to have. Thanks guys!

Ok, so i went out and looked, and it is not my VIN #. It is an MICB number, whatever the heck that is! I am sure you guys are right, it has something to do with recovery, but no clue as to how it works.
