Hurricane glass on I-45 does good work. They do alot of custom jobs, and all the dealer work for the 7 or so dealers right by them.

Since I'm completely paranoid about my new GT, I'm looking for a reputable place that will back up their work.

Thanks for any suggestions.

I had my '89 GT tinted at Binswanger's Glass back in 1989, and the tint has lasted (and looked good) until very recently.

I have had friends and family have windows tinted at Hurricane Glass on I-45 and all have had good luck.

did we ever figure out a solid answer on how to not mess up the tint when the window drops when the door is opened?

It has been said that there is a fuse that can be removed (it's noted in the owners manual) or put a piece of tape over the sensor so the door thinks it's closed when it's not.

does that affect the glass at all? does it drop down to get underneath the weather stripping so doing that would push the glass out in the wrong direction? i have yet to get close enough to see a mustangs windows in action so i wasn't sure how it worked. if it doesn't affect it at all i'll deffinatly pull the fuse or cover the sensor.
