Has anybody ever had warranty work denied on their cars, or your warranty voided completely. Just wondering what kinda excuses FORD gave you when doing it.

Having a black hood scoop on a blue car will void the warranty.

(Just kidding... )

I've seen a few threads regarding dealerships denying warranty work and 'red flagging' modded cars. Dealerships can't void your warranty (only Ford can).... but they can opt to deny working on your ride. Here's one which was just posted:

Hey I know that guy. I'm gonna get the car back today and just pay the price right now. I'll work with ford directly though to try and get a refund.

Ford will try to void your warranty for having aftermarket air in your tires so be careful.

What DoctorQ says is right. Dealerships cannot void your warranty. I've had no problems with my dealer. I think if you are honest with them and work with them, there should be no problems. If they start off by giving you a hard time...walk. There are two Ford dealerships in our little town, and a dozen more within an easy drive. In most places, I think you can find another dealer that will work with you.
