We do not, I repeat, DO NOT need to order the body side moldings. I do not have them on my car. I am not sure why people would order them. They must think "Hey, now I don't have to worry about people hitting my car with their doors."

Ya, hang on to that dream. Now, not only will you have a dent in the door but a scratched/chip door molding that also needs to be replaced.

On another note, Canadians have some of the best beer and liquor in the world. Even Mike's Hard Lemonade is better there than here in the states; there it's a vodka-based beverage, while here it's malt-based. You get more alcohol for the dollar! :worship: :moose:
mmmmmm beer!. Ya, I like Mike's stuff as well. Then again, a few boiler-makers and a Rocky Mountain Bear F@#& will either put a smile on your face or your head in the toilet.

body side moulding in Canada is optional. As far as the spoiler delete goes, right now we Canadians have to accept it. The lady at Ford Of Canada told me if enough people complain about it, they would probably make it the same as the states. Don't know if that's B/S or not?

All you have to do is go on their site, and ask nicely why we can't get spoiler delete?

It's weird that we can't get the spoiler deleted... I mean, the cars come down the same assembly line right? Just don't put the spoilered decklid on my car. That's not too difficult... plus, Ford saves money since there's no credit involved in deleting the wing. I'm going to complain... the car looks really good spoiler-less!

There is an explanation about the spoiler delete in Canada in the Canadain section of the fourms,

http://forums.bradbarnett.net/index.php?showtopic=7599

There is a good chance it will be offered on the '06 GT in Canada, just as a heads-up

I don't agree. Refer to the picture of bodyside molding on my one year old truck I have no fewer than 18 "dings" in it. The cost to replace the whole piece is 85 ish dollars and I will do so in the summer. However, if that was the sheet metal I would be paying 50-65 dollars to have the paint proffesionaly filled and fixed by the color concepts guy. He does an awesome job and can take any chip or gouge out and make it look identical including clearcoat. My dealership uses him but he also does work on the side as he will come to your house or office and do a perfect fix on the spot. However that being said its 50-65 dollars per ding. The doors on my truck are perfect and only the body molding is wratched. I believe they are stuck on with some sort of tape so it can be pulled off, junked and replaced in two minutes.
