Ahhh !
Okay, I'm replacing my stepper motors (Tach speedometer), and this little sliver came up when I pulled my second motor out! It looks like it is part of the mother board. I just want to know someone else's opinion, am I SCREWED?!

not supposed to do that
how many layers on the board? might be able to bridge the break with light wire, but watch for pulled 'bushing' like thru hole connections that tie top/bottom/inside traces together. radio shack sells 30 gage kynar wire wrapping wire that works well for bridging traces, but gotta be careful... trying to solder a thin trace can lead to further lifting if not very careful.

The trace looks like it goes to the 1728SG IC chip. Just run a 30 gauge jumper wire from the IC chip leg to the new stepper motor. Once you're sure it's working take a little epoxy and glue the wire to the board so it doesn't vibrate and come loose.
