Alignment...

So, I took my car back to the dealer today for an alignment following my spring and shock/strut install. Amazingly they couldn't get it on the rack! With the GT500 fascia, the splitter is about 3-3 1/2" off the ground. So, I tried another local BMW shop that I've had good luck with in the past and they couldn't do it either! Ahhh! Anyone know of a shop in the Chester County PA area that has a lowrise rack that can handle lowered cars? If I can't find someone, I'll just do the old chalk and string trick in my garage. I don't have an issue doing it myself, but it used to take me forever to do my track cars. Oh well!

I'm having the same problem too now that I have the CDC Classic Chin Spoiler on. How can we get our Mustang safely on and off the racks?

Just got mine done here in Northern Ind. at Dales Service center. Their Alignment machine is a direct level drive on. They finished in 20 minutes and I'm happy as can be.

Had the same issue but FORD actually made some wooden ramps to drive my car up so it would fit onto the lift.

did you have to jack it up and put it on jack stands before they got it onto the lift? Was that a truck lift?

Someone at work suggested a 2x6 so I picked one up at HD and will give it a shot tomorrow.
