Got mine about 3 weeks before my 23 B-day. It was the third car I paid for. The only car I was given was a 1963 Chevy c10. It was a work truck that my dad had driven for several years before I turned 16(and I still have it and am planning on restoring it eventually). In fact the 1997 F150 my dad bought so he would have something to drive was the first of 6 Fords (including the mustang) we bought form our local dealer. I then bought a 1990 miata (it was sportier but more importantly had a/c). Then moved onto a 2000 Ranger. It was my transport to and from college. I had always admired and wanted a Mustang GT, but never could afford it. Wasn't for sure I could afford the GT deluxe and had considered a v6, but my parents and dealer talked me into going all out. Glad they did, the difference in payments was negligeble and I love it. You only live once.

Yet another young-at-heart-ster joins TMS . . . . welcome!
Thanks! Nice to be here. Nice to be anywhere, now that I think about it.

Your only as old as you feel and I feel 18 when I drive this GT.
My first Mustang was a '68 convert which I still have, Next an '86 vert, an '87 vert, a '99 cpe, an '01 vert and now an '05 GT. The last is definitely the best and it will be a "keeper".
Ask Carrol Shelby if he thinks he shoudn't be driving 'cuz he's over 70!!!
Alright . . . . no age listed here . . . did you forget?
