GREAT story..Sounds familiar.My dad has helped my older brother(WORTHLESS) most of his life. Dad and I work at the same Ford dealership for 14years before I left when they sold. Dad was still there for another 6 years at the same location until he passed away of cancer. And I went to a different one. But before he passed. He was able to helped me out a couple of times. And when I decided to sell my 2000 F250 SD 4x4 (with tons of extras) and get my 2005 Mustang GT,he was excited. But when I got the car he was too sick to go for a ride with me. R.I.P. pop.........Now I'm trying to get my mother to take a spin. She used to drive a 1966 Ford Galaxie with a 390ci,4speed,391 locker.

Point is....take care of your parents later in life because they took care of you for your youngers years.

LOL sorry folks, I _just_ got back to civilization, so I'll get some pictures up today or tomorrow. I was out at my parents place all weekend (was a long weekend here) where it's dialup only, and I didn't have my camera.

I remember always being impatient with these threads in the past, now I know what it's like. You don't want to bugger around on the internet, you've got driving and polishing to do!

 

im new. first post on this forum. congrats on the black bullit. i think i read the production on the black ones is only 100 units but i dont remember exactly. supposedly 7,000 total. its really cool that your dad helped you. my last car (89 supra turbo) my dad lent me the money then i paid him back. i also bought him a $3000 lcd tv since i finally have some moeny (20 years old with money? what?......army lol) anyways post up some pics!

Is it me, or does it look lifted a bit? Maybe I am just used to seeing mine at the opposite end of the spectrum with my eibach sportlines.

 

Yeah I put a lift kit on it.

lol! It's actually lower than a standard GT. I'll take the clearance; we have poor roads and I'll be using it now and then when the snow flies.
