Putting my order in 4 weeks ago today I guess just wasn't in time for me to get my Mustang with IUP before the delays hit. My dealer called me today and said his Ford rep came in and all orders with IUP are on delay... :bang: :bang: :notnice: So now that people are getting their cars left and right, it looks like I will be on delay. Does anyone have the latest news on this problem? What type of timeframe to get cars delivered now? I was really hoping for right before Christmas but it looks like end of January now. Is THIS even realistic?

Well FWIW, I have a build week of 12/13 and unless the car is put on the train by the end of the day on 12/17, I guess it'll sit there in the lot until January 3rd I'm REALLY hoping that by some miracle it shows up on 12/30 or 12/31 at the dealer.

Hahaha! No I wish. So who knows how bad these delays are gonna be. Everytime I walk in my house and see this huge 6 ft. box with my exhaust in it, I get pissed off!!!

4 weeks and expecting delivery before xmas was a lil pushing it... especially considering from middle of december to early january is there "holiday". I will say that I received mine two weeks early, and I was listed as a temp delay because of the IUP so there is still hope out there. Hope you do get it before xmas.

Yeah, drizz...does it say temp delay? Mine was temp delay for about a week, then it was clean and waiting to be sequenced...you may be still in line for the 8 week delivery window (plus 2 for the holidays)...

2bone123, I was on temp hold for all of about 2 weeks and I ordered the day after yours on the 7th. I'd be calling my dealer, see if maybe they can do anything. He might have a surprising update for you soon though, much like my dealer did the day after Thanksgiving.

Bobby I'm betting I'll probably get my car about the same time as yours. I'm feeling for you because I know how bad you want to be out of that BMW. Thats right people he is dying to get out of a bimmer for this car! Never thought I would have heard that with the previous gen Mustang. Keep telling my girlfriend this and she still hates the car. Stupid Trick! j/k

Yeah murr knowing my luck you will prob get it before me. My dealer told me I should know by Thursday if a VIN was assigned. If not, I have to wait until NEXT Thurs, then NEXT Thurs, etc...ugh this is crap. Ford should have forseen this. I'm glad my antenna came today too. One more thing to look at!!!

Oh ok, I've been talking to the Fleet Manager, but he's somewhat of a tool. I'll try the sales manager tomorrow.
