45 mph crash in my 05 GT

doing 45 down a busy street, nice asian lady pulls out of a parking lot, whilst looking THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION. T-boned her MB C230.
Nice. No serious injury, just some pain and scratches. Cars crumple zones did their job VERY well - no interior signs of impact, other than airbags.

this is bot nice and not at the same time
nice that you're ok and everything. we also now know why the 05 got that 5 star (am i right? or was it 4) crash test rating
not nice cuz of your poor baby
hope she gets fixed up real soon

That is just plain awful! I'm glad ya'll are ok. Did those wheels get damaged? They look pretty nice. Hope her insurance takes care of ya like they should and you get your stang back on the road soon.

It's going to be a while in the shop. The biggest problems will be getting parts and for the insurance company and bodyshop to write their estimate. Right now Mitchell (estimating software) still doesn't have a database for the '05 Stang, although I get my new update tomorrow. Hopefully that info will be there to speed the process along.

OUCH
Thank God you’re ok. Do they replace or repair with your Mustang in that state of reality? If you replace what will you do different? Side air bags for the time you might be T-Bonee (spelling?) instead of the T-boner.

100% her fault, so I'm looking good as far as that's concerned. We'll see what the adjusters say once they look it over, engine got a good whack and spewed plenty of vital fluids on the road.
I want a replace, as whereas I had a nice new 05 GT, if they repair I'll have post-wreck fixed up 05 GT. If I get new, I'll do exactly the same changes as before. Cops were all over the car when they saw it. Rims are real nice - nicer in person than the pics show - and with the Eibachs, the car looked $10K nicer.
Meanwhile, my new Steeda pulleys and 3.73 gears are chillin in my garage, wonderin' where's mommy?

Thats what you get for driving in Westminster. When I first got my '66 and was coming back from the mall I drove up Bolsa and the whole way my mother was screaming at me for my indiscretion as I weaved in and out of cars darting at me from double yellow lines and making left turns where there were no left turn signs and going 20 miles an hour...
anyways sorry for your loss...
On another bad-westminster-driver story, my friends and I were headed towards the 22 freeway to go to the block and we were in the far left lane and some guy made a left turn from Staters Bros' *into* our lane and came to a complete stop.
