Could you tell if they antiseezed the electrode shaft from the factory?

It appears that the revision took place in Nov of 07.

They should do a massive recall on all affected engines and get the new heads put on.
Ford might go broke, but they deserve to after such a bonehead move.

No sign of anti-sieze either. Plugs had 12K on them and i'm running a tune. Had no descernable carbon buildup.. I also only use Shell premium gas ,if that makes any difference???

Subscribing. Determining my options before I put too many miles on the car....

Are there other manufacturers that offer plugs for the 3v that have the correct gap?

Gapping the plugs really isn't bad , if you have one of the tools. You screw the plug into one end of the tool and the other end has a screw that you use to close the gap. Do it slowly because once you make the gap too small you can't open it back up and use a wire gauge to measure the gap. Also , you have to measure the gap with the screw backed off , since the gap will open up a little when it is removed ...
