2008 Owner Pulled a Spark Plug?
Could you tell if they antiseezed the electrode shaft from the factory?
It appears that the revision took place in Nov of 07.
Look at the TSB in this post.

They should do a massive recall on all affected engines and get the new heads put on.
Ford might go broke, but they deserve to after such a bonehead move.

No sign of anti-sieze either. Plugs had 12K on them and i'm running a tune. Had no descernable carbon buildup.. I also only use Shell premium gas ,if that makes any difference???
Subscribing. Determining my options before I put too many miles on the car....
Are there other manufacturers that offer plugs for the 3v that have the correct gap?

Gapping the plugs really isn't bad , if you have one of the tools. You screw the plug into one end of the tool and the other end has a screw that you use to close the gap. Do it slowly because once you make the gap too small you can't open it back up and use a wire gauge to measure the gap. Also , you have to measure the gap with the screw backed off , since the gap will open up a little when it is removed ...
