Suggest you read the post from ISELLFORD today on this subject. The letter he posted explains how the Shelby's will be distributed.

Just don't bother asking a non-SVT dealer any questions about the car - actually, go right ahead, it could be amusing.
I still love when I was at an SVT dealer years ago asking about the SVT Contours they had - it went something like this:
me: "hey, I'd like to test drive one of your SVT Contours."
dealer: "sorry, we don't have any of those."
me: "you have 3 of them."
dealer: "no we don't."
me: "i just walked past them on your lot - they're right there."
dealer: "oh ok... let's go."
(we walk to the car and get inside)
dealer: "hey I didn't know this one had a 5-speed."
me: "they only come with a 5-speed - there's no automatic."
dealer: "are you sure about that?"
me: "umm... yes."
(test drive finishes and we walk back inside)
me: "so what's the lease price on this?"
dealer: "oh, we don't lease these."
me: "huh?"
dealer: "huh?"
(awkward pause)
me: "what does SVT stand for?"
dealer: "umm..."
(I leave)

Why would a non SVT dealer get an SVT car?

Do you always answer a question with a question?
It was a simple question... and I never saw SVT in his post....
Maybe he didn't know the GT500 is an SVT project.
This is a discussion board.... not a bashing.... I'll do everything I can to make you feel stupid board.
GOT IT!

Will the SVT dealers be the only ones to get the 2007 shelby's? Or will regular ford dealers get one or two?
