Question 2007 Order Guide Request

Help,

I need to get a hold of the 07 Mustang order guide. I went to order a GT and requested options 47A (Strips), 601 (Alum fuel door) and 602 (Bluetooth hands free). I was told that they are dealer installed options and are not ordered with the car. Another dealer told me they would check. Most of the online sites I've checked don't help.

Can someone post a link to the 07 Mustang order guide so I can order with the correct codes so I'm not in for a surprise when the car is delivered.

Thanks,
Wayne

Just a FYI. If you're factory-ordering your car and request the Bluetooth option (MobileEase), it is NOT a dealer installed option - the car is sent to a Ford ancillary facility in Michigan for installation after coming off the assembly line. Your car will therefore arrive at your dealership with the option already in place.

I fought the same battle. The bluetooth and stripes will be installed at the VPC or Vehicle Personalization Center across the street from the plant in Flat Rock. This is a fairly new thing that Ford is doing and it seems the dealers haven't figured it out yet. My dealer is baffled why the order indicates the VPC shipthrough (order code 31S) and they just won't believe me.

As an aside, if you go to Forddirect.com and build your car it will indicate if it's a dealer installed option or a factory invoiced option. The factory invoiced options are installed at the VPC.

It's interesting: my sales manager knew all about that. Proving once again that there are dealerships...and there are dealerships.

That's for sure. I'm convinced that I'm the first person to ever order a Mustang from this dealer that's been in business for over 30 years. I literally know more than the sales manager, without question. I walked in with an order guide under my arm and a complete list of order codes all ready to go. It was there for 4 hours before he got it right. If only the other dealers in the area were a little closer. I know for sure I won't be back to them for service if the car ever does come in.

interesting to me as well. I'm assuming the powercode remote start option falls under this VPC thing like the bluetooth option....My VOC states the "31S MUSTANG VPC" as well...

and the for remote start it reads: 603 REMTE STRT *ACC
