and a another comparison.
hey....i can fit 2 on this one...nice.
anyway....a closer look.

BIG DIFFERENCE.
Like comparing 2D to 3D.
Let's just hope that ford fixes this before they release them, and the wait may well be worth it for the 64W.

These are The Service Wheels! I have them in Stock! They would have to be polished to look like The Show wheels!

Guys, i just had the wheel options confirmed by my dealer in Dearborn. The 64E option is the fanblade style and the 18" bullit won't be available until October. They were confused on which was which as we all have been, but they called the plant to confirm and the fanblades are what is available to start the fall. Bullit's won't be available right away. I'm really po'ed at this so if anyone can confirm this claim to settle my qualms i would be greatful. I really wanted to Bullit's!! but not at the expense of waiting a couple months more.
This would be consistent with what Kevin has already advised....makes sense given that actual 'blades are available for purchase now!! Wonder where Brad got his info??

I tell you... at this point I don't even care. Whatever rims I have on the friggin car is what I get I suppose. As long as they're 18" with the new suspension that works for me.

If I don't like them... oh well... there's always aftermarket.

So is there a difference in the suspension if you get 18"s over the 17"s?

All right Brad, time for you to step up to the plate and straighten this out. Because of your info I changed my order to get the 64E, which was supposed to be the Bullit. Now it looks like I would get fan blades, and I dont' want those.

Please straighten this out with your resource and lets get a definate answer to this once and for all. This is your site and you are the trusted authority with all the connections at Ford.

I don't believe this... Maybe it's a good thing for me that my car won't be built till December or January; I'll have time to see which wheel is actually which and what they look like in person before my order is locked in.

I hear ya...

The blades aren't that hideous, but if I had a choice, I'd definitely opt for the Bullitts.

Jslabaug as far as I know yes... there is a difference in the suspension if you get the 18s.

So do you think it is just different springs? Because with all the confusion on the wheels i wanted to just get the 17"s and then buy aftermarket 19's or 18's but if it comes with expensive suspension parts with the $700 dollar upgrade to 18's then i think it might be worth it just to get the 18's anyway. sound like i'm on the mark?

Yes, I think you're on the right track. Probably just different springs. $700 is a pretty good price for 4 18-inch wheels and tires. The 17'inch "upgrade" wheels were $250, and they didn't even have unique tires.

well i think i'm gonna have to forget about the 18"s. i guess it's too late to change it. already changed it a couple times last week because of the confusion. i'll just spend the money and get the wheels and suspension that i want when it comes. the 18"s they offer are nice but not exactly perfect for my tastes anyway.

So um... what's going on here?

If you ordered one wheel and thought it was the other, your dealer should be able to help you out when the car arrives.

Well, it wouldn't be Ford if there wasn't some confustion with the 06. I mean we had the IUP, My Color, global open/close, etc with the 05!

It makes sense, since this is the first time I've seen the 18" bullitts, but MAN I REALLY WANTED THOSE! Whatever they end up being, I'm going with the the 64E's. Got a build date of 8 August, and I don't want to screw with it.

Maybe I'll get bullitts later with 255's....
