I really wanted those polished fanblades, but now that they're not polished I'm glad 64E turned out to be Bullitts. Hopefully somebody will offer a fully polished version of the fanblades in the future.

I'm sure if Ford themselves don't offer polished fan blades at some point that an aftermarket company will. Heck, we already have a company that has Shelby wheels available.

The only bummer is, the polished wheels are a pain to keep clean and shiney.

I believe they're actually Midnight Silver, not chrome.

I've a quick thought. We have heard nothing about the bullits until the last couple of months. There were no showcars with the bullits. Yet, they are available now. On the other hand, the fanblades have popped here and there for well over a year, but they can't get them out until late in the model year? What gives? I wonder if there was some sort of manufacturing problem with the fanlades.

Oh yeah, and I am REALLY disappointed that the fanblades have silver painted inserts. I was hoping for completely polished. But, I have to say those bullits rock. It almost quells my disappointment. Methinks I will have to be looking on Ebay in the coming months for people selling the bullits that bought them off lots. Unfortuneately, I've a feeling that demand will push the prices higher than the $500 people are getting for the current wheels.

And finally, thanks a million Brad. I have been wanting to see those pictures for a long time, as I am sure everyone else has as well.

Thanks Brad - hope we didn't run you through the ringer too much! You do a great job of getting us info we don't deserve in the first place

Having that said...Ford should not even bother putting out the 64W's at this point. :stubborn: I was really in love with the prototypes and was dead set on getting them, but these don't even come close to the show car wheel. They just do not have the same aggressive, "I'm gonna plow over you" look - they look more like those puny 15" sedan wheels.

My bet is the 18" Bullitts will outsell the 'blades by a landslide, not only because of the headstart, but because the Bullitts are bad xxx looking compared to the blades, especially when you see them side by side like this. No contest.

Adam, I think they are 8.5" wide and will come with 235's as rolling stock.

There is still more conflicting info on Ford's media site regarding these wheels.

Brad, any word on when we can order the Bullitts through Ford Racing??

Also, it looks like they were able to make the bullitt spokes more 3D by reducing the depth of the lip (only a single lip)..... I think that looks better
