OK, I think Ford was just about as confused as we were. It seems that about two weeks ago Ford switched the description of the wheels. There is an early press release on Ford's media site with the wrong info. The pictures at the top of this page are correct. The 18" Bullitts, order code 64E, will be available at launch.

Brad, any word on when we can order the Bullitts through Ford Racing??
Also, it looks like they were able to make the bullitt spokes more 3D by reducing the depth of the lip (only a single lip)..... I think that looks better

Thanks for the info Brad. I wanted the blades but now I like the Bullitts, and at this point I would take which ever came out first.
I'm curious, what's the "Suspension Tuning" consist of for the 18" wheels rather than the 17"? I'm guessing none, just a speedo change.

Nice Replacement Tire is the Goodyear Eagle GS-D 3
235/50ZR18 101Y XL EAG F1 GS D3 GS-D 3 Tire

I've a quick thought. We have heard nothing about the bullits until the last couple of months. There were no showcars with the bullits. Yet, they are available now. On the other hand, the fanblades have popped here and there for well over a year, but they can't get them out until late in the model year? What gives? I wonder if there was some sort of manufacturing problem with the fanlades.
Oh yeah, and I am REALLY disappointed that the fanblades have silver painted inserts. I was hoping for completely polished. But, I have to say those bullits rock. It almost quells my disappointment. Methinks I will have to be looking on Ebay in the coming months for people selling the bullits that bought them off lots. Unfortuneately, I've a feeling that demand will push the prices higher than the $500 people are getting for the current wheels.
And finally, thanks a million Brad. I have been wanting to see those pictures for a long time, as I am sure everyone else has as well.

I wonder if the 18" tire/wheel combo will be "taller" then the 17" combo we have now?

The 17" wheels on 235/55-17 tires are 27.17" overall diameter.
The 18" wheels on 235/50-18 tires are 27.25" overall diamter.
They are virtually the same height. The extra 1" diameter on the 18" wheel is compensated by the 50 series aspect ratio tire, which has about 0.5" less sidewall height (x 2).

WOW...those Bullitts look SWEET! Only question I have now is, my DORA says that the 64E wheels are PAINTED aluminum, not polished...which one is it, Ford??? I also ordered 64E hoping they would be the polished fanblades, but like Tim was EXTREMELY disappointed that they were painted so now I like the Bullitts better, whether painted or not.
All I can say is,
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you,
This saved me some money by not having to by the aftermarket bullits. And the lip on the bullits looks great.
