first I've heard that the interior wasn't photoshopped but was real. I tend to believe that no new interior colors will be added. I don't see what's so difficult about simply using different pigmentation to dye the leather other colors - already do grey, black, parchment and red, why not a few more - blue and yellow would be nice.

Although I'd likely still go with red interior in any case, it would be hard to pass up a yellow on yellow or black on yellow with yellow stripes. Come on Ford, bring me variety!!

 

I would think it may add to the cost of tanning the leather. If you add 2 colors and dont sell many as compared to say dark charcoal it is going to be more expensive. They are still trying to get production numbers up as is without adding more things to slow it down. Just a thought.

the chops from motor trend were on a windveil blue car if i remember correctly. and im sure brad has his ducks in a row. he should be on fords payroll with all the press hes gotten ford in the past two years

 

not sure what you mean by the windveil blue car, those pics were the exact ones I remember from Motor Trend.

As far as adding new colors slowing down production, I don't know, I wouldn't think so, I'd think Ford has outside contractors providing leather and putting the seats together. Adding cost, possibly, but if I was concerned about the cost of the leather I'd go with cloth.

 

That interior looks like a blueberry and I think it would make me nautious over time. Can't wait to hear if the ICAP will be offered on the '06. I want to order a GT in Satin Silver or Tungsten with ICAP, if not, I'll have to go with dark charcoal which is also great. If Ford offers a darker blue that has the same killer effect of the red, it'd be perfect.........

I'm trying to decide if i like that or not. I think i COULD, but the blue isn't vibrant enough. It needs to be closer to a bright atlantic blue or nogaro blue (like the Audi S4).

I'd like as many colors as possible, and a dark green would look good in a dark hunter green car.

 

I like the green leather sets. Would need to be put in a Dark Red car w/ red intior with the green seats. Make it a christmas special one

Not a bad idea. But I personal thing in a Dark green car the perfect look would be
a Forest Green Car w/Tan leather with wood grain dash. O and a vert. Black top

Yikes! Thanks for the chop - that is the right colour, but now that i see it on the seats, it doesn't seem right. I think red is the only colour that looks right for the WHOLE seat. I think that blue would be ok, but only as INSERTs on black, you know?

This one only works IMHO in blue...it's much nicer in person - it's only good with the nogaro exterior though too.
