Tungsten Silver w/Blue leather ala Shelby Cobra.
I read somewhere that each year the Interior upgrade would
change. 2005 had red Leather. 2006 should have blue.

 

Do you mean the IUP as in the aluminum dash or the ICAP as in the seat colors. Adding more interior colors would be great especially adding blue, but I don't want to lose the red.

I've seen nothing else about the interior changing, and if so I'd think it would be the IUP and not the ICAP. But don't know what to believe, the early CAD's that you made were right on, so gotta believe its a strong possibility.

Oh no that looks so good. Now I don't know if I should take my Satin Silver in two weeks. It looks so dull compared to the Tungsten. Maybe I should wait until 06?

 

At first looking at that blue, it looks way too light, but then I remembered that they are dropping Sonic, and Vista is not nearly as dark a blue as Sonic. So it makes sense to have a lighter blue to closer match the exteriors of Windveil and Vista.

 

I'm trying to decide if i like that or not. I think i COULD, but the blue isn't vibrant enough. It needs to be closer to a bright atlantic blue or nogaro blue (like the Audi S4).

 

Yea the Tungsten looks awesome. I wish it was out for 05 but then again I dont have anything other than c/u still so I may get stuck going to 06. half of me wants it to happen just so I get the Tungsten and half wants the car now.

 

Sorry, but that blue looks terrible. Not nearly as striking as the red interior on the 05's. Maybe it's the camera, but that much of that blue looks horrible. Instead, they should have done the center parts of the seats in accent colors and not the whole thing.

Even when I went on Concepts and force ordered a Tungsten GT, the options for interior did not show the blue and I have a DORA tht has a Crimson Red Interior Accent.

 

Not sure if I like the blue or not, but adding ICAP colors should be a very cheap and simple thing for Ford to do. They don't have to add any dash or other hard plastic trim colors--just seats, door panels and floor mats. Screaming Yellow leather would be outstanding with a SY or Black exterior.

 

I never thought of yellow ICAP.

 

Someone already did there interior in yellow on here.

 

These are all photoshopped images from February 04 Motor Trend when they previewed the 05.

The images are not real and Ford has no plans of offering the light blue interior.

The images are not photoshopped. The car originally had blue interior but was replaced with dark charcoal before the Detroit show.

That was a pre-production 2005 piece, which I do not believe will be available in 2006.
