I'm thinking that I should find a badge from a 70 mustang grill or a 66 Shelby grill emblem. CJ Pony parts has both

66 Shelby Badge

70 Grill Badge

The 70 is a bit different but could look cool... Huh.

So pissed off right now. I took the car to the Ford dealer to get the ABS and Traction control lights turned off from when I replaced my cluster. $400 later and the lights are still on. Ford is claiming its the cluster. "sorry so sad..." So I paid $400 for NOTHING!

Not for nothing I wouldn't go to a dealer unless I had no choice and with this specific process there was no choice. Its only done by Ford so...

Then I would strongly consider locating another dealership that will treat you as a valued customer.

The problem is the money has already been paid. I need to work with this Dealer to see if they can make it right, which they have agreed to try it again. I just have to take another day off of work and make the appointment.

On top of cost there's always the inconvenience of it all to boot. I agree about switching stealerships!

Once this is done, I don't foresee me having to go back to a dealership again, for service anyway

The next project for our Mustang is adding a chin spoiler. The GT grill alone is an upgrade to the front of this car but it was still lacking something. I looked at all the different ones and landed on this GT Speed spoiler I found on Amazon.

After

I really hope you'll be able to work something out with the dealership to make things right, especially after all the money you've spent on having them troubleshoot your vehicle... Hopefully, the dealership's service manager will be able to make things right for you, as you rightfully so deserve.

We shall see... I have to schedule more time off of work in order to sort it out

With the next project we are turning our attention to the back of our Mustang and replacing the standard rear wing with a Duckbill spoiler

Before

For those that aren't familiar with the process. The stock wing is attached with 4 bolts and some adhesive.

Since the adheasive was only recently applied when they repainted the deck lid it felt like it was not so bad to remove. I mean it still took time but wasn't as bad as I expected. Basically we just used rubbing alcohol and some elbow grease

After about 40 minutes of work

With the new spoiler in place. The new spoiler only uses two bolts rather then the original 4 and 3M tape all around the perimeter of the spoiler

While this looks fantastic, it reduced visibility out the back window by about half... This could bite me in the butt at some point but right now I really dig it

Thanks for taking the time to look at our project

Happy Eclipse day everyone. After I finished my repenting I heard a noise at the door. Nothing like an Eclipse day mail call.

Like a lot of 05 through 09 Mustang owners I wanted to upgrade the look of the back end of my S197 and Vector taillights were in my sights. But after thinking about it I started to get turned off to the idea. Not that they are bad, quite the opposite, They are quite cool looking but it seems that everyone has them and I prefer to go the path less traveled when I can so... I decided to get these tail light bezels instead. They are very simple but really make the tail lights look more distinctive. And they are a small fraction of the cost of a set of Vectors. Now should I change my mind later its no big deal to switch, I mean these were only about $50... That won't break the bank
