Only tried the keyless entry, But looking at the key, it does not have any stamp on the key blade,(the Mustang has an "S" on it) so I would deduce that it would not function either.

My key does not have an "S" on it. Could you take a picture of the fusion key next to a mustang key so we can see the relative size of it. I refuse to give up on this easily.

The info I was posting was in reference to the 2005 Mustang. Previous Mustangs use different types of PATS and remote entry systems. That is all the info I can gather, maybe kc can help.

seriously....anyone heard anything? anyone actually cut a key and try to program it?
if my dealer doesn't have to order 10 keys at a time, i might try this out.

It's Typical the more hype FORD puts on something the harder it is to get. They Come up with a Part I can sell like icewater in the sahara and I can not get it.

UPDATE FYI.
The Mustang uses the Same Key as the FUSION does for Valet Applications. Which means the Key iself is compatable. Now as far as the Transmitter Funtions that is Still up in the Air. My Info came from Ford Keys. BTW the Keys are Still on B/O till February.

kc,
Per my previous post (A long time ago in a gal..-well you know) I used the Mustang programming procedure with a Fusion integrated key on my car and it did not function-would love to be proven wrong but I do not think I will
.The Fusion procedure for the integrated key seems to program through the Securilok system-probably tied in through the SJB, I would presume..
