What's wrong with you folks? That was a totally awsome video of the car we all love burning some seriouse rubber and all you guys do is yapping about lack of safety. Seriosly!

Is this the nations safetyboard of burnout forum or what?

Give the guy some cred, he sure knows how to handle car!

Some would say the same about a gas-guzzling V8. Not me.

Ok, the guy is a dolt for coming so close to people,

no one got hurt, time to move on.

In any case, the engine sounds great, and it rips it up well

Sorry, but leaving your tires on the ground like that reminds me of the rice burners showing off to their friends and trying to impress the girls.
at a underground street race.

I suppose if I was 16 and lookin for respect, tearing up my new car in a crowd of people would make me the coolest kid in school.

I never said I didn't enjoy it. I would never treat mine like that though. Power can be used in better ways than that. And, no I am not buying a V6. I'm waiting on the Cobra. It will never see that kind of abuse.

Agreed. I'd never do that to mine either. At the track, heating up slicks is one thing, playing around once in a while, ok, but full out with a car that hasn't even been broken in yet...no friggin way.

In my book, this is not how it should have been done, no security whatsoever was considered during that burnout, in my club, when such activities take place, we have basic safety rules that we apply.......Like making sure nobody stands in front of the car, windows rolled up,crowd away from the car......Then you can enjoy the show....

I gotta say that was cool. I'm not one for doing something like that to my car....it's always better seeing someone else doing it to theirs!!

A few years back, we used to have a weekly car show at a local strip-mall parking lot. There was this main driveway and near the end of the show, cars used to line up and do a burnout on their way out. That was insane!! It was fun while it lasted (Cops finally shut down the spot a few weeks later.)

I love the '05 as much as the next guy, but i'm really not impressed with the sound of that. I swear it sounds just like my blender at the higher RPMs.

"Being that this car’s build number is only two digits long, and absolutely no parts are available if anything should happen to it, great care was the slogan of the day. "

You were also listening to a simulated sound. No speaker, let alone computer speakers, can echo reality. I have a Wave Radio as my computer speakers, and even it can't recreate actual exhaust notes even with a GOOD audio recording. This was a weak recording.

My advice is to not write it off just yet, because everyone who's heard the real thing says it sounds awesome.
