THAT WAS AWESOME!!!!

he was into the rev limiter pretty hard though. if i was him i wouldve sidestepped the clutch and smacked 2nd gear, rode it out and whipped out a couple donuts and slide it into the parking spot. but thats just me!!

Send that vid to his service manager the next time he needs something fixed under warranty I can just picture it now "You tires are bald, back breaks are shot, clutch is a little burnt. Have you been driving the car a little hard?" He replies, "uh, not really".

He doesn't care about the warranty. He's building this car up for SEMA.

Don't get me wrong - I thought it was awesome too. But professional driver or not, IF something had gone wrong (and yes, that's only IF) a lot of people would have gotten hurt.

But I certaily agree that it was indeed an cool display of power and driving.

I was there! That was one cool show
Best Of all I won The Grand prize in the Raffle
The use of a brand new Ford vehicle for a week. Can you guess which car I am holding out for?
Is there a stipulation of the return condition?

New Tires - $250.00
New Brake Pads - $60.00

The look of horror on people's faces as a new Mustang careens into a crowd of onlookers - PRICELESS

I believe it would've been sufficient with the first round. After that I started to cringe watching it. That's total torchore on a brand new car that I'm sure isn't even broken in yet.

That's the XMP car. That will be THE car to check out at SEMA. XMP was one of the few aftermarket tuners to get their hands on an early 05. If they work their magic on this 05 like they have on previous cars, this 05 will create quite a buzz. I doubt wheels and tires are the last of XMP's concerns, as every aftermarket wheel and tire company, will be falling over themselves to try and put their products on this particular car.

That whining noise is the spirit of the Mustang crying "why did I get hooked up with this abusive driver?"

I agree. All it would have taken was for his foot to slip off the brake pedal (very easy to do if you're heal and toeing it) and they would have had a disaster on their hands.

And I don't think it showed anything as far as power. I was able to do what he did with a '76 Datsun 610 four-door with a 1800cc four and automatic. And I got lots more smoke than that.

Nice to see and hear a Mustang though. I just wish it had been under different circumstances.

What's wrong with you folks? That was a totally awsome video of the car we all love burning some seriouse rubber and all you guys do is yapping about lack of safety. Seriosly!

Is this the nations safetyboard of burnout forum or what?

Give the guy some cred, he sure knows how to handle car!
