Yeah, I heard the 'whistling sound too' - maybe it's just the sound of the air moving through the intake OR it's a stealthily hidden S/C or turbo? Supposedly, it was stock but still, that was a LOT of burnout. Who knows?
Either way, I think doing those kind of burnouts with a LOT of people standing nearby directly in front of the car (!) was incredibly risky and actually sort of stupid. :nono: No flames intended but when he turned the corner and those people were directly in front of the car, imagine what would have happened had he suddenly got traction and couldn't get stopped. Ouch!
But - the car was awesome and I did enjoy seeing it smoke the tires. Thanks for the links!

I was there!
That was one cool show
Best Of all I won The Grand prize in the Raffle
The use of a brand new Ford vehicle for a week. Can you guess which car I am holding out for?

Sweet! I understand how to do brakestands, and I did one in a piece of junk Cutlass I had, but I never did it in any of my Mustangs because I didn't want to put my drivetrain/brakes through that.
Looks sweet though.

Sure, it was a little dangerous, but I would think that a guy who owns a performance Mustang shop probably knows what he is doing.
If I was there I wouldn't have been complaining about it being dangerous, I would've been enjoying the show.
Also, that was NOT an automatic.
