109,985 here, should have waited until tomorrow to post so I could be 110 also. Car is at the Ford shop right now getting the 2nd replacement compressor put on, was making more whining and groaning noises than the original it replaced.

Other than the AC, nothing ever has gone wrong with the car. There are 2 others around here over 170K and 200K, I believe they share similar maintenance history.

Just for fun I like to look at the 05-09 Mustangs for sale in my area online a couple times a month. I looked yesterday and was amazed to see at least 12-15 cars with well over 100k on them. There's definitely a good price drop after you pass that mark, but I was still surprised how much they seem to be selling for, even with all those miles. Good sign I think. I know the Chevy Silvarado trucks have a reputation for lasting forever- wonder if Mustang will get that rep as these cars age? Also think in general, as a group Mustang owners take better care of their cars than the average driver. Just my opinion...

What I'd like to know is:

1. What mods?
2. How do you drive it?
3. How much dragstrip/track time?
4. Any power adders?
5. How often you hit redline.
6. How often you change your oil and oil type.

Some basic info like this would REALLY make for a revealing thread about how these bad boys last!

185,800 miles on the car - still on the stock engine and transmission. 4.0L V6 with the automatic.

1. What mods? - currently the Xcharger Xtreme supercharger. Put it on at 90,000 miles on the car, after running a 75 shot of nitrous for two racing seasons. Swapped to the 8.8" rear end with 3.55's and the LPW girdle; Shaftmasters aluminum 4" driveshaft; CHE driveshaft loop; J&M HotPart LCA's and adjustable UCA; UMI relocation brackets; FRPP shocks and struts. Changed the front brakes to the larger GT brakes.

2. How do you drive it? Every day, sun, rain, snow, sleet, hail. 45mile one way commute, mainly expressway. It has not seen an easy life.

3. How much dragstrip/track time? I hit the dragstrip twice a month usually between April and November. I've eased up on the number of passes, used to make 10 or more each trip and now usually only 6.

4. Any power adders? Yes, nitrous 75 shot for two seasons, and at 90,000 miles pulled the nitrous in favor of the Xcharger.

5. How often you hit redline. At the track, every pass. Getting on the highway it depends upon how heavy traffic is.

6. How often you change your oil and oil type. I was changing it out every 5 - 6,000 miles using a 50/50 blend. But they no longer carry the blend so now it is full synthetic. I send out about every third change for an analysis by Blackstone Labs and they said to go up to 7,500 so that is what I waited for last time and just sent the sample off to them today.

I haven't had any real problems with the car. I had a blown head gasket before I installed the nitrous and they took care of it under the extended warranty because the service department could see that it was not completely installed. I just swapped the cats - the stock set was completely plugged up so picked up a set that a friend had in his garage, cut and welded them in place. Other than that, just normal maintenance. I change the plugs every spring (using the cheap autolite 5143), transmission fluid every spring, new fuel filter every spring.
